How it works

From the first click to the book in their hands. This is what happens at each step, and what you decide.

How a book is made

Four steps, and you stay in control of what gets printed the whole way.

  1. Three photos turning into an illustrated character sheet.

    Introduce them

Upload one to three photos of each child or pet. We draw an illustrated character sheet and you decide whether it looks like them. Once you approve it, we delete the photos.

  2. A pencil and a sheet of paper with lines of writing and a star.

    Pick the story

Tell us their age, a theme and the occasion, and we write a story that fits: a birthday, a new sibling, a new pet, or simply an adventure.

  3. An open book with turning pages, like a preview.

    Edit and preview

Read it and change any line. See the cover and two spreads exactly as they will be printed, without paying anything.

  4. A gift box with a ribbon and a book inside.

    We print and ship it

21 × 21 cm hardcover, printed in the European Union. We ship it to you or straight to the lucky reader, with a message and a dedication.

What you decide

  • Which characters appear: children, cousins, friends or pets.
  • Whether each character sheet looks enough like them. If not, we make another one.
  • Every line of the story. Rewrite it completely or just change a name.
  • The dedication, the gift message and where we send it.

The book

  • Hardcover, 21 × 21 cm square format.
  • 24 to 32 pages, depending on age.
  • In Catalan, Spanish or English.
  • Printed in the European Union by a specialist printer.
